Snape moved early up the steeps that lead to the clock tower, he needed a place away form people, somewhere not likely to get deserved for he had to think. With the Dark Lord back, even if not strong it meant, that not only the wizarding world was in danger but, so was the muggle world perhaps more so the muggle for they could do nothing to stop one such as the Dark Lord and his followers. Snape should know, he was once a Death Eater and knew what happened, he was not happy in the things he did. Just at the time he wanted to impress to show he had power, ofcouse in the end it did not matter he still lost everything, most imported he lost a friend and one he loved dearly to another only to later lose her form this world and he could not stop it, as much as he had tried.
Now Snape had to be even more mindful of things that happened, as well watchful to see that the students stayed safe form any form of attack of course that was more when of the grounds of Hogwarts for at Hogwarts they were safe for Dumbledore would keep them safe and not even the Dark Lord would take him on unless he went mad. Snape also knew that with the Dark Lord back he to become a double agent, a spy for the Order of the Phoenix and be willing if it came to it dye, not that he wanted to dye for who ever did. And more so after lasting threw the last war he wanted to live to grow old, if the faiths where nice he would see the end of this war come to an end, as he had the first.
At top of the tower the Snape took in the view, it was breathtaking the sun had started and was at the point that it started to leave the sky streaked in different colors, that changed with time. Going form oranges and blues, to pinks, reds a breeze came up lightly blowing his robes behind him yet, Snape barely felt it. Snape was dress in his normal teaching robes of all black, many could pick him out by nothing but his robes when he approached. Snape might've come he to avoid people yet, that did not mean if people showed up he would not talk to them or blasted them off the tower roof, just he did not think it good to be around a lot of people why he thought over what was to come, that could not be stopped or at least he did not see anyway of it not coming to a head.
