Practical Efforts (OPEN to all at Hogwarts)

Rose was out on one of her normal walks - which all in all almost seemed like she was patrolling the grounds. But the castle was a stuffy place to be, and it was best to stay either A) in your dorms or B) on the grounds. Umbridge was everywhere, the only place she didn't ever seem to be was outside of the castle, especially if you stick close to the Dark Woods. She had circled there, past the lake, and was now headed up towards the suspension bridge where there was a gaggle of people. Her eyes narrowed as she moved closer, seeing a pair of two redheads.

Approaching to where she would be noticed, as soon as she made herself known, she smirked, planning on giving Fred and George a run for their money. Quite literally. She cleared her throat softly, before, in her most Umbridge-iest voice, going "HEM-HEM!"

Terrified, the gaggle of people's head snapped up and whirled around to look at her. No, she wasn't Umbridge, but she WAS a prefect.

Like she actually cared that Fred and George were selling their goods again (she wasn't) but she figured messing with them would be a hoot, anyways.

Rose rolled her eyes, "and what? Get detention from Umbridge's cronies for having contraband? No thanks, if other students want to take the risk, that's on them, but I have too much to do to get stuck in detention." She attempted to hide the blush at the nickname.

She watched as a couple of first years looked at her warily before walking away. They would soon learn that as long as she didn't catch them breaking actual school rules - and not just the ones posted up recently in the entrance hall - that they would only be punished then. She was not Percy. She had a hunch that the twins liked this about her. Rose half-wished that Percy was still in school, though - to give him a taste of his own medicine.

They then mentioned something about raiding the kitchen... which was a school rule and she sighed.

"Let me go with you, at least I can make up some excuse about you having a second dinner."

Fred nodded when Rose asked to come along. Very rarely did he say no to her. "It's not a second dinner." George claimed as he moved to help his brother. He gave her a crooked grin. "It's an early, first breakfast." Everything was put away when the new comer stepped up and the smiles dropped from the faces of those paying enough attention. "Nothing, Professor." Fred replied to Professor Dragon. "Just a group of friends relaxing and having a privet conversation."

The twins no longer trusted the staff at Hogwarts. Other the Dumbledore and McGonagall that was of course. They were not doing anything wrong anyways. It was not after hours. There was no sign of any counter banned items. It was not like they had been caught at anything. None of the other students said anything and more of them drifted away. The ones that were passing by on their way elsewhere gave this group a wide birth.

Looking at Rose, George gave a slow blink as if to say, come along. He and Fred started off and the few students that had remained through all this began to follow. They spoke in whispers. All except for Fred who called over his shoulder in a false polite tone "Have a good evening, Professor."

Rigoletto did not see anything that was things they should not have or be doing, yet he could smell it of course he could not say anything on that matter even if he knew the truth, that more was going on to what was being told.  At Freds answer, it was not want he wanted to hear even if it might be half truth, for to him it was a dismissal like one would a dog or in better terms they held no respected in his mind for him and where just going to do as they wished.  Of course Rigoletto did not miss no other students spoke up, he could see the fear of being so called caught, something was going on for they could not be this jumpy over nothing or could they.  Rigolettos mind wondered to what had them so spooked he was a professor so they should trust him to speak to him honestly or more so, yet they showed no sign they trusted him in any way and he could not say he could do anything to gain it if they had such fear. 

Rigoletto did not miss that students where leaving, just as he noticed they came form different houses of course he did not stop them yet he could try to be more forceful to get some form of control in this matter.  As Fred and George moved to leave he did not miss Fred's words.  He was about to speak when he heard Rose's words at them he spoke simply one words that he hoped would get some control in this matter "Wait" At that he moved closer to Fred, George, Rose and others that had yet to leave of course they were slipping away if they could and not being stopped. Some Gryffindors and other students where around when he spoke again if they stopped. "So you just all happen to be living the moment I show up and none but, two of you has any voice?" Rigoletto watched them closely as if that alone would break them into talking, of course they did not know he knew they were lying.

Fred and George did not bother trying to fight Rose as started to lead them off. Normally hearing her or any other prefect claim they were going to force them to do anything would have brought on instantaneous retaliation. They were steps from the bridge when Professor Dragon called out to them. The twins slowed to stop and some people looked back at the professor with soft sighs. Fred and George turned to look at Professor Dragon as he approached once more.

Neither twin moved to back away from the vampire or showed any fear. Vampire or not, Professor Dragon was limited by what he could do. Both Fred and George met Professor Dragon's eyes silently as he spoke. When the teacher started on about how only Fred and Rose were speaking, George piped up.

"Is there something you would like me to say, Professor?" He asked in a chilled tone. George would always be there to back up his brother and vise versa. The new voice grew attention and the twins looked to the newcomer. Of course, another Professor. Fred's grinned slightly at the mention of his name. "Everything is fine." Fred answered for them all. "We're just trying to head to our tower." He looked to Rose. "Right?"

Robert heard Miss. Fawley words he had not heard her approach, likely more focused on those before him and thinking her steeps where a student, a mistake that another time and place could have cost him his life, yet today he did not have to worry about it thankful. Rigoletto knew that he had nothing to keep them if they would not say it, he might know they were up to something or did something however Rigoletto might be better cutting his loses and waiting for them to make a wrong move again and not go after them for things he could not prove. "Fine"

At George words Rigoletto looked at the boy "The truth would have been nice" he did not miss that both boys showed clearly they were not going to back down, of course he did not plan to go to such a degree at the moment, he would choose his fights better for such a thing. The only question was if the two would now see him as one to walk over, a mistake they would fine for Rigoletto was not one to be pushed around, yet he knew when to fight and when to let things go and more so because he could not prove anything at least that would not go above what he was allowed to do. 

Rigoletto did not miss they said they are going to the tower he questioned it yet, he could not prove it or not that they were not going to go their. However later he might learn of reason to bring up the matter up of I caught you dead to rights or that was how that saying went.  Rigoletto's eyes flickered to Rose as she spoke, once done he responded "Very well Miss. Hunter, but I expected you all to go to your tower right form here" He did not think they would listen yet if things happened again with another Professor and they got caught things might not go so good for them no matter what they said. In fact, he could think of one Professor that would be the worst to be caught by and that came just form his dealings with them, let alone being a student.
