Appearance: Hermione is of average height and build for a young teen her age. She has long and bushy brown hair that often looks untamable. She has slightly bucked teeth but smiles all the time. She dresses in regular students robes and in muggle clothes when she's not in her robes.

History: Her parents are both Muggle dentists, so she grew up in a comfortable non magical world until she got her Hogwarts letter. The world was new and full of life! Hermione was very quick to get all the books that she possibly could and read as much as she could. Hermione studied so hard that even being Muggleborn, she was quickly top of her class.

On the Hogwarts Express, she met her future best friends, Harry Potter and Ron Weasley. At first, the three did not get along and it wasn't until Halloween night that the three cemented their friendship forever. A troll was released into the castle that wandered into the girls bathroom where Hermione currently was. Harry and Ron saved her life so she lied to get them out of trouble with the professors. That same year, Hermione helped Harry through the tasks that led to the Resurrection stone and Voldemort.

Their second year at Hogwarts was spent figuring out what creature was behind the attacks from the Chamber of Secrets. Hermione was petrified and was cured as soon as the Mandrakes were ready.

On their third year, Hermione spent the summer in France with her parents before the school year started. She purchased a cat named Crookshanks who hated Ron's pet rat, Scabbers. They ended up having the best Defense Against the Dark Arts professor ever in Remus Lupin. It was Remus Lupin who expelled the dementor away from their cabin on the Hogwarts Express. They were on Hogwarts property because Sirius Black had escaped from Azkaban. Hermione was the only student who figured out that Lupin was a werewolf. She was given a Time-Turner from Professor McGonagall at the beginning of the school semester to have time for all of her classes. She used it to save Buckbeak, a Hippogriff who was supposed to be executed. Hermione and Harry also helped Sirius Black escape after the truth finally came out after all that time. That Scabbers was really Peter Pettigrew and that he was the one who really betrayed Harry's parents to Voldemort. The school year wrapped to a close with Hermione returning the Time-Turner.

Hermione's fourth summer was spent with the Weasley family and Harry. They all went to the Quidditch World Cup together when the Dark Mark was revealed. At Hogwarts, the new DADA professor was Alastar Moody. This is also the year that Hermione started SPEW, a crusade to help liberate house-elves. With the name choosing of the Triwizard Turnament, Hermione was one of the only ones who completely believed that Harry did not put his nane in the Goblet of Fire. She helped her friend through the different tasks. In the meantime, she developed a friendship with Victor Krum, one of Harry's rivals. She waited for Ron to ask her to the Yule Ball but eventually accepted an invitation from Victor Krum.

She was also chosen as Krum's 'kidnap victim' during the second task. He did succeed in saving her. Rita Skeeter wrote an article about their friendship, making it seem more than it was. Hermione discovered that Rita was actually an unregistered Animagus who took the form of a beetle. She trapped Rita for an entire year until she agreed to write truthful articles.

On the last task before the school year ended, Cedric Diggory and Harry Potter vanished. When they returned, Cedric was dead and Harry announced that Voldemort had returned.

Over the summer, the Ministry made Harry Potter and Albus Dumbledore look like jokes and liars. Hermione was with Ron when Harry arrived to Grimmauld place. Now they are coming up on their fifth school year.

Personality: Hermione is courageous, strong, intelligent, and kind. Because of her brilliance, she's a force to be reckoned with and will seldom back down from anything that she has set her mind to.

She loves to read and learn, so she's almost always found at the library or with her best friends, Harry and Ron. She always knows the answers to the questios asked in class and knows that everyone calls her a know-it-all behind her back. But she would rather be considered that than fail. She feas failure so much that it's what her Boggart shows.
