little miss faye | faye liked to hang out by the black lake whenever she got the chance. whether it was to read a good book by the shore or even just wave hello to the giant squid, faye found contentment in the calm nature of the place. besides, most students preferred to hang around the courtyards during breaks, and so the black lake was often unoccupied and uncluttered. it was the perfect atmosphere to relax and enjoy the cool, crisp autumn day. although school had only recently started back up, the honey-blonde female could be seen sitting daintily with her charms book open to the second chapter. her homework had been to first the first ten pages of the first chapter, but faye had decided it wouldn't hurt to get a little bit of a head-start over her fellow students. besides, charms was her favorite subject and it wasn't as if she had anything better to do. perhaps if she had friends she'd be out and about with them, but alas, faye oberlin wasn't one well-known to have friends. she scribbled down some interesting notes about the freezing charm. instead of using a quill, though, faye may or may not have snuck a couple of pencils into hogwarts this year. she'd be darned if she would have to spend another entire year dipping and re-dipping her quill every five seconds. pencils and pens just saved so much time and effort - no re-dipping needed! but of course, the magical world seemed adamant about quills and inkwells. this muggleborn was adamant about her pens and pencils, though. besides, these notes were just meant for herself. it wasn't as if she had any friends to share her notes with, after all. |
