Somke in the eye SP OPEN TO ALL AT HOGWARTS

This muggle camping weekend probably would have been miserable if the weather turned sour; but fortunately for the students at Hogwarts the Scottish Highlands blessed them with the rare delight of dryness. He could just imagine it now: without their wands to repel water from the tents and fires, they would have been soaked through and probably forced to go back inside the castle. Zacharias was glad that it wasn't looking that way. He had heard, from muggle-born friends, that camping mainly consisted of camp fires, food and songs and being out in the wilderness or a camp site. He liked the idea of toasting marshmallows over a fire, and couldn't wait to do that first.

Within the short trip from the Hufflepuff dormitories to the grounds, Zacharias had managed to lose his friends. He didn't really like being without them. Being a hufflepuff was all about unity: if you didn't have companionship a hufflepuff would likely suffer, as they were all fairly social beings with social needs to fulfil. He had already left his bag inside of a tent (which was, astonishingly, just a small space underneath some fabric) and had ventured out to try and find everyone.

Unluckily, he hadn't come across them yet. Trust them to all get separated, when they had all these ideas of spending the entire weekend together. Oh well. He was sure they would turn up soon.

Feeling hungry and in anticipation of what food was on the menu, Zacharias met a younger hufflepuff beside the food tables and got talking with them. He liked talking to the younger students sometimes. They actually listened to him. Promising the boy to save a seat beside the nearest fire pit, he took off in the other direction and Zacharias gingerly approached the fire side. A waft of dense heat and ash-ridden smoke swirled over his figure as he held his food plate.

The Weasley twins were probably the most obvious students sitting by the fire. Orange hair and freckle-laden, everyone knew those twins at Hogwarts. Zach liked them enough. At least they were entertaining, he supposed. "We'd all have to be daft to believe you two are going muggle for an entire weekend," Zach piped up, from several seats down. "So what can we expect, Filibuster's Fireworks at dawn?" He always had a habit of sounding like he was scoffing. Well, perhaps he was. A little bit. He couldn't help himself.
