candy lips cherry kisses, got a heart that always misses ♡ freya prided herself on having the majority of the hogwarts staff under her thumb. she was the favorite of her professors, thanks to her charming attitude and good grades. however, the only reason freya even thought to get in her teachers' good graces was because they were the key to keeping her out of trouble. if she had the teachers on her side, then nothing could stop her from completely and totally ruling the school. she remembered how she had been able to trick trelawny into siding with her when a student dared to try and complain about freya being mean to them during divination classes. but trelawny simply couldn't believe that dear little miss freya montrose could have a single mean bone in her body. therefore, freya had escaped unpunished and the student who tried to fight back was shunned. and that's when everyone else learned to never stand up against ravenclaw's "head bitch". of course, there were still some professors who hadn't yet fallen for freya's charming facade. mcgonagall did well with not picking and choosing favorites amongst students, and snape was particularly hard to please in general. freya cursed the fact that she wasn't slytherin - that might help her case then. instead, she supposed she'd just have to use her ravenclaw smarts to get on snape's good side. that was why she was slowly packing up after having finished potions class with the familiar black-haired man. while the other students were leaving in a hurry, glad to be done with the lesson today, freya wanted to hang around for a bit and ask for some "tips" on how to make her draught of peace more potent. freya wasn't actually all that interested in potions, but she still had a decent hand at it. she had brewed plenty of anti-pimple potions in the past, after all, and even a couple of beautification potions for when she "felt" a bad hair day coming up. otherwise, though, she didn't care too much for the subject. nonetheless, she straightened out her already perfect uniform before she went up to snape's desk at the front of the room. she had tried to charm snape before, but it usually never worked in her favor. if she wasn't so stubborn about it, freya probably would have given up a long time ago. but she was adamant to get snape to like her... or, at the very least, tolerate her more so than other students. to many others, it would seem like an impossible task, but freya was confident that she'd be able to wear him down. "professor snape," the light blonde started, her voice pleasant but not overly sugary, "i have some questions about the draught of peace. the book says it should be a turquoise blue color, but all i've managed to get is a sort of cerulean blue instead." she knew it was because she hadn't crushed a unicorn horn into a powder, but she had found that teachers liked it when they could help you answer your questions. she just hoped that would also apply to snape. freya had found him to be hard to read. but, she thought to herself, she was also hard to read. freya put on a very convincing act when around teachers, after all. 549 words | outfit | notes | mood |
